Science Teacher- Full Time- ASAP Start- B36, Birmingham based secondary school

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a fantastic secondary school in B36 to appoint a science teacher on a full time basis. The school prides itself on excellence, integrity and respect and is a fanastic working environment to be a part of.

Ideal Applicant:

- UK Qualified Teacher Status

- Excellent range of experiences teaching Science within UK secondary schools

- Well-rounded knowledge and understanding of the Science national curriculum

- Strong behaviour management skills and ability to command a classroom effectively

- Committed to driving standards and creating a positive, inclusive learning environment

 

Roles/Responsibilities:

- Plan a range of engaging science lessons, adapting to individual needs and requirements in each class

- Confidently deliver science classes that inspire and motivate learners

- Regularly assess pupil progress and provide insightful feedback to pupils, parents and staff within the department

- Collaborate with staff within the department

- Remain committed to safeguarding at all times, creating a safe, positive learning environment for all children to access and thrive

- Contribute to wider school community through participation in any extra curricular activities i.e. parents' evening

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
