Science Teacher – Secondary School (Ashford)
Location: Ashford, Kent
Pay: £150 – £250 per day (Dependent on Experience)
Contract: Full-time / Part-time / Supply
Key Stages: KS3 & KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
We are currently working with a well-regarded Secondary School in Ashford who are seeking a committed and knowledgeable Science Teacher to join their department. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher who is passionate about delivering high-quality Science education.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and structured Science lessons across KS3 and KS4

Plan and prepare lessons in line with the national curriculum

Assess, track, and report on student progress
-
Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
-
Manage classroom behaviour effectively
-
Work collaboratively with the Science department and wider staff team
Essential Requirements:
-
Proven Science teaching experience in a secondary school setting
-
QTS preferred, but candidates without QTS will be considered if they have strong experience
-
Strong subject knowledge in at least one Science specialism
-
Excellent classroom management and communication skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
