Location: Braintree, Essex
Salary: Competitive (MPS – dependent on experience) + Teachers’ Pension Scheme

Our client, a vibrant mixed secondary school for students aged 11–18 based in Braintree, Essex, is seeking a dedicated Science Teacher (ECT) to join their dynamic team from September 2025. The school has a strong emphasis on academic excellence, student wellbeing, and a collaborative teaching culture.

About the Role:
As a Science Teacher, you will have the opportunity to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach at KS5 depending on your specialism and experience. You will deliver engaging, practical, and thought-provoking lessons that encourage students to explore the world of Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.

This is an ideal opportunity for an ECT who is passionate about making science accessible and exciting. You will benefit from an experienced mentor, high-quality CPD, and a school community that is invested in your professional growth.

  • A qualified Science Teacher (or due to qualify by July 2025) with QTS

  • A commitment to inclusive practice and raising student achievement
