Catholic school in Wandsworth hiring for a Science teaching position - September start - £140 to £225 a day

Science teacher needed for a full time position beginning in September at a Catholic school near Wandsworth

The Catholic school in South West London are currently hiring for teachers in their Science department and are looking for a practitioner experienced delivering secondary school biology, chemistry or physics at key stage 3 and 4. Experience teaching at key stage 5 with any specialism is welcome.

Interviews are commencing from the second week of August

The Wandsworth based school has been consistently rated 'good' by Ofsted for the past 10 years and promotes the values of the Catholic faith. Any applicants are expected to respect the Catholic faith, but being a follower of the Catholic faith is not a requirement.

Requirements

  • UK recognised teaching qualifications such as a QTS or PGCE
  • Experience teaching Science (biology, chemistry or physics) at least to key stage 4 is required
  • Must have completed the NQT year and have held a placement for a whole academic year
  • All applicants must have an enhanced child workforce DBS
  • Able to travel to Wandsworth for a full time position

Teaching Personnel have signed several Service Level Agreements with Catholic Diocese around the country, building relationships with Catholic Schools. As such there are many opportunities available in highly rated Catholic schools around London.

The role

  • Science teaching position; biology, chemistry or physics
  • Key stage 3 to 5
  • Full time position; 5 days a week, 8:30 to 15:30
  • Starting in September
  • Catholic school in Wandsworth
  • Pay rate between £140 to £225 a day depending on experience and education
