Are you a Science graduate seeking a full-time training scheme from September onwards? Are you exploring the possibility of pursuing a career in teaching but want to gain paid experience before you commence training? If this sounds like you, then Teaching Personnel's 'Future Teachers' programme is ideal for you.

This programme is intended to tackle the shortage of teachers in schools through providing prospective teachers with placements as teaching assistants in a secondary school in their area. In this role, graduates are able to work directly with young people in a classroom-based environment, providing both 1:1 and group support.

We are partnered with a number of schools across Tyne and Wear who will provide graduates with the necessary support and training across all departments. For candidates who demonstrate a passion for education and steady progression in their confidence and ability at the end of the programme, the schools are willing to offer a position on their initial teacher training schemes.

To be eligible for this role, candidates must hold a bachelor's degree, though the classification will not affect your application. You must also be considering a career as a teacher of Science.
