A school in the Trafford area is currently seeking an experienced Support Worker to join its Outstanding Team. The school in question caters for young people of primary age 2-11. The school has classes and facilities to support children of various needs including ASC, PMLD and Non-Verbal Communicators. The ideal support worker will have experience in an SEN/care environment and would additionally have:

Team Teach experience or willingness to train

Moving and Handling
This support worker’s role would be to support the children in their development. Depending on the needs of the children /class you would support, this may be communication activities, play centred tasks or holistic therapies. Your role would be supported by a Teacher and one or more Teaching Assistants.
The school is located in Urmston with travel links from Salford, Trafford and Manchester City centre across buses, trams and road. To be successful in your application, you must be able to provide evidence of this as skills and experience.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30am-3.30pm approximately, but you may be offered additional duties and responsibilities outside of these hours.
