SPORTS GRADUATES – CARDIFF
Are you just finishing your Sports Degree?
Have you coached or led sessions with young people?
Are you thinking about a future PE PGCE?
If so, I am currently looking for 2x Sports Coaches (1 Male/1Female) to work within the PE department of a school based in Cardiff.
The school have specified the need for the Sports Coach/Assistants to have a background in Sport whether that from playing at a high level or from studying in University. You will be tasked to support across the PE curriculum and will often be working with the PE Teachers on Spots events across Cardiff and the wider South Wales region.
It is also an advantage that the successful individuals can support with extracurricular sporting activities as the schools sports team run across lunch time and after school. The successful Sports Coach/Assistant will be supporting pupils of all ages and the ability to build relationships and engage with the young people you are working with is paramount.
This role will start immediately for the right candidates and will continue for the full academic year until July 24.
*For anyone considering a PGCE in PE in the future, this is the perfect stepping stone to give you exposure to school sport and also the ability to deliver lessons on occasions which will only enhance your PGCE application. *
