School require KS1-KS2 cover supervisor (Primary).

Are you L3 or HLTA qualified and happy to step up and deliver the Curriculum across KS1 and KS2 classes?

Are you available every Thursday and Friday starting from 19th April until the end of the Summer term?

Can you make an impact in the planning and delivery of high quality lesson content, mainly in foundation subjects?

If you are answering YES to the above statements then you may be interested in reading more about the current role I have available and one that I am seeking to fill ASAP. The School is located in the depths of Darwen town centre and with this the transport links are very good and efficient. The School is currently two form entry and have a range of children arriving from a mixture of social backgrounds. With this in mind, the applying candidates must have experience working alongside children with varying special educational needs and languages. It would also be beneficial, if you could specify in your current CV a portfolio of experiences to show the schools you have worked in and the roles you have undertaken.

The Head teacher is new to the role in School and is keen to surround himself by practitioners who are committed and reliable. He has also noted that the role will be a challenge as you will be expected to liaise with a number of staff members in preparation each week to ensure you have planned effectively and encourage next steps in learning in line with the class teachers expectations.

The role will be to start this Thursday and Friday and continue until the end of the academic year. There is also the expectation that the role will be advertised from September 2018 and you will have the opportunity to apply for this and take up the role on a contracted basis indefinitely.

You will be expected to work in this role from 830-1545 each day and there will be time to plan set aside in order to keep on top of planning, assessment and resources.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
