Roman Catholic Schools using Teaching Personnel
Job description
This vacancy has now expired. Please see similar roles below...
Overview of the Role
I am currently working alongside a number of Roman Catholic Primary Schools in the Blackburn with Darwen areas who are looking for experienced Teachers to work in KS1 and KS2 classes on an ad-hoc basis.
Teaching Personnel have a preferential supply agreement with the Liverpool Archdiocese and the Salford Diocese, which means that Roman Catholic Primary Schools falling under these Diocese are eligible for exclusive benefits when they use Teaching Personnel. With this comes work for our candidates in RC Primary Schools! You do not have to be a practising Catholic to be eligible for this work; however you must understand the importance of supporting the Catholic Ethos in school.
As with all supply work, there is always the possibility of there being a permanent position for you providing you get on well in school. The Headteachers in these clusters work closely together and when teachers get on well in school, they recommend teachers to other schools in the surrounding area!
If you have had experience within a Catholic School, hold CCRS or have even completed your training through the Catholic Teaching Alliance, please don't hesitate to contact Steve in the office on 01772 842154
Benefits of working with Teaching Personnel
I work alongside two other experienced consultants within the Preston Primary Branch at Teaching Personnel, so not only will you have one consultant working on your behalf, but three! Collectively we have close links with number of Primary Schools across Lancashire and provide a bespoke service to Teachers and Teaching Assistants who may be looking for a new role.
We are also able to offer a number of CPD Opportunities to Teachers that register with us and we are interested in constantly up-skilling Teachers that are registered with us. CPD courses include; Team Teach, Autism Awareness, PREVENT DUTY and Safeguarding and Child Protection Level 1 and 2.
Next Steps
If you are looking for part-time or full-time work that fits around your availability, please call Steve on 01772 842154 or alternatively email your CV
All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
