Resistant Materials Teacher

Are you a Technology teacher that specialises in Resistant Materials? Are you looking to secure an introduction to your next full-time teaching position in September?

If so, Teaching Personnel are currently working with a secondary school that is located in Wigan who wish to appoint a Resistant Materials teacher for an open teaching gap in September 2019.

  • Full-time Resistant Materials teacher - September 2019
  • Teaching Resistant Materials to students up to KS4 ranging in ability
  • Pay in line with MPS and UPS scale
  • Both experienced and newly qualified teachers encouraged to apply
  • Work alongside an experienced team of professionals and a supportive Senior Leadership Team

This Wigan based secondary school are looking to appoint a Resistant Materials teacher, initially on a temporary basis, however, there will be an opportunity for this post to become permanent due to the nature of the gap.

The school are looking for an enthusiastic Resistant Materials teacher who has the ability to teach engaging lessons and consistently provide good and outstanding practice. It is imperative that you have effective behaviour management skills and have up to date machinery certifications.

  • Large Wigan based secondary school with around 1250 pupils on roll.
  • Situated between Wigan and Chorley the school is just a short drive from the M6 and A577
  • There is onsite staff car parking for all teaching staff working within the school
  • If travelling via public transport there are good transport links to the centre of Wigan and the surrounding areas.
