Religious Studies Teacher

Are you a fully qualified teacher looking for your next role?

We have an exciting opportunity for you as a full-time Religious Studies Teacher near the Cambridge area! The candidates must be ready to start as soon as possible.

Teaching Personnel is seeking an energetic teacher to join the team and contribute to the school’s mission, values, and key focuses. The perfect candidate will be joining a “Good” Ofsted rated school, who have a strong sense of community and a focus on their student’s wellbeing. They focus on the child as a whole ensuring that their pupils are able to develop interesting skills in and out of the classroom.

 You will need to be passionate about the subject and be a motivated, enthusiastic practitioner willing to contribute fully to the school’s programmes.

Role requirements:

  • Full planning and preparation
  • You will be allocated a form group and will take on the Form tutor role alongside your teaching duties
  • You will also be expected to support with shared duties, twice per week

To be qualified for this role you will need:

  • To be a qualified teacher
  • A bachelor’s degree in religious education or related field
  • Prior experience teaching R.E at the secondary education level
  • Proficiency in delivering engaging and dynamic lessons that inspire student learning;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment;
