Religious Education Teacher

Governors at a school in the Accrington area are currently seeking to appoint an RE Teacher to their Humanities team.

The school is a successful 11-16 provision with approximately 1000 pupils on roll. Having recently gone through a monitoring inspection the current OFSTED judgement is requires improvement. The schools vision for improvement has been highlighted as a strength and there is a strong confidence about achieving a 'Good' judgement at their next inspection.

The RE department is a highly regarded department within school. The recently appointed head of department is committed to building a team of outstanding practitioners. In collaboration with an 'Outstanding' Partner school, this is an excellent opportunity for a forward thinking, committed and inventive Teacher to join a well-supported and highly achieving department. Candidates considering this role must:

• Hold a bachelor's degree in religious studies or related subject
