We are looking for an outstanding Religious Studies teacher to both provide excellent teaching and also to lead on aspects of developing the Religious Studies department, both academically and pastorally. The successful candidate will be given responsibilities within a very successful team, based around their own areas of expertise.
The academy has already enjoyed considerable success in our first 2 years as an Academy, achieving rapid improvements:
• 60% 5+A*-C including English and Maths (top 5% nationally for progress)
• A*-C English and Maths: 62%
• A*-C Maths: 70% (top 5% nationally for progress)
• A*-C English: 75% (top 2% nationally for progress)
With a brand new £15 million building and outstanding facilities, the school offers an excellent opportunity for an ambitious, talented individual looking to develop their career. The post would be excellent preparation for a Subject Co-ordinator role. Ofsted highlighted our very effective staff training and support and outstanding CPD.
