A Stockport based secondary school is seeking to appoint a Religious Education (R.E) teacher to join their Humanities department in January for 2 terms until the end of the academic year. The successful teacher of Religious Education should be innovative in their approach to the subject and passionate in their teaching of the Religious Education Curriculum. This a full-time position due to start on Monday 4th January with applications being encouraged from teachers of all experience levels including NQTs and more experienced teachers.

- Pay range between will be in line with MPS1 – UPS3; GBP25,714 - GBP41,406 per annum pro rata

The school is very well resourced with funding having been invested enhancing the opportunities for all students. The inspirational Religious Education teacher should be knowledgeable and motivated to make learning R.E. enjoyable for all pupils. The school’s Humanities department is growing, hence the opening within the faculty with the Head of Humanities overseeing Religious Education, History and Geography.
The school is located in the Stockport area of Greater Manchester, easily accessible via the M60 ring road and regular local public transport from the surrounding area. The school has been commended for its implementation of new behavioural policies and the forward thinking direction of the senior leadership team, which has seen the school move from strength to strength especially with regards it’s latest Progress 8 scores.
