Position: Religious Education Teacher

Location: Ashford, UK

Job Description:

As a Religious Education Teacher, you will:

  • Inspire Curiosity: Spark students' interest in exploring different faiths, beliefs, and moral issues.

  • Promote Tolerance: Foster an atmosphere of respect for diverse worldviews, encouraging open dialogue and empathy.

  • Teach Critical Thinking: Equip students with the skills to critically analyze religious and ethical questions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Religious Education or related field (PGCE preferred).

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • Passion for Religious Education and a commitment to its importance in a modern education system.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
