Trainee Education Recruitment Consultant - Newport
Teaching Personnel are currently looking for a Trainee Education Recruitment Consultant to join their expanding Newport branch. The role is based in Cardiff full time but involves servicing client schools based in Newport, Torfaen, Monmouthshire and Caerphilly. We do require applicants to have a full driving licence and access to their own vehicle as part of the role involves going out to visit the schools. Travel expenses are paid. This role will start later in the year (June or September) but we're keen to speak with you now!
Main Duties and Responsibilities
The role involves providing excellent customer service to our client Primary and Secondary schools ensuring all their staffing requirements are filled and building a pool of excellent candidates across a local area. The role also involves identifying new potential clients and meeting them to discuss our service and how we might be able to help.
You will:
- Make a high volume of sales and business development calls to schools across your local area
- Build and develop your own candidate database by sourcing and recruiting quality teachers and support staff and matching them to temporary and permanent job placements
- Have regular face-to-face client visits to build relationships with key decision makers in schools in order to successfully service your client schools
- Work to KPIs and targets in line with your branch and career ladder

As part of the role involves visiting our schools which are spread out over a large geographical area, we do require consultants to have access to a car and a full driving licence.
