Job description

Teaching Personnel are actively recruiting for a Reception Teacher for a busy and diverse Primary school in Colliers Wood. The school has been rated as 'Good' by OFSTED, and the new head teacher has continued to make improvements within the school in attempts to further progress the school to become 'Outstanding'. Based in Colliers Wood, the successful Reception Teacher will be welcomed by dedicated staff and high quality pastoral care. The school actively encourage career progression through training and teaching opportunities. The position is available for ASAP or latest January 2020 start on a temporary basiswith the opportunity to become a permanent contract.

In order to be considered for this role, the Reception Teacher will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Bachelor of Education / PGCE / or equivalent teaching degree with QTS
  • Proven experience teaching the UK, or an equivalent, curriculum
  • NQTs and/or OS-trained teachers are welcome to apply
  • Have strong communication, literacy and numeracy skills
  • Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)
  • Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks
