Role: Reception/KS1 Teaching Assistant
Location: Yate, South Gloucestershire
Salary: £54-65 per day
Teaching Personnel is working with an OFSTED rated 'Good' school that requires an EYFS/KS1 teaching assistant to support the class and class teacher. This school is based in the lovely area of Yate and is a two-form entry school.
As a general teaching assistant you will be working in both the reception class and KS1 class with all areas of the curriculum. This class can occasionally be hyperactive and present challenges so a teaching assistant who has good behaviour management is required. This role will involve supporting all lessons as well as leading small group sessions for students who may be falling behind expected levels and require booster sessions. You could also be supporting phonics sessions and leading activities for high achieving students.
