Job Type: Full-time (Monday to Friday)
Pay Rate: £89.38 per day
Start Time: 8:20 AM
Finish Time: 3:20 PM
Transport: Own transport required

We are currently seeking a Fluent Welsh Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant Reception class and play a key role in inspiring the next generation of learners. This is a full-time, rewarding position that offers a competitive daily pay rate and the chance to make a real difference in the lives of children.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Fluent Welsh Language Skills: You’ll need to be able to speak and engage with children in Welsh in a natural and enthusiastic way.
  • Commitment to Excellence: You must be committed to supporting the learning and development of young children and creating an inclusive environment.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with the class teacher and other staff to support student success.
  • Own Transport Required: Due to the location (SA2), having your own transport is essential.
  • Positive Attitude: We’re looking for someone who is approachable, proactive, and eager to help where needed.
  • Reliability: We need someone who can be consistent and dependable, helping create a stable and supportive learning environment.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Reception Class Teacher with lesson delivery, group activities, and one-on-one support for children.
  • Foster Welsh Language Development: Engage with students in Welsh to help them develop language skills in a natural, immersive environment.
  • Encourage Positive Behaviour: Help maintain a well-behaved and motivated classroom.
  • Provide Individual Support: Work closely with students to provide personalized support where needed to help them meet their learning goals.
  • Monitor Progress: Assist in tracking and assessing student progress and report back to the teacher as needed.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
