Supply Teacher

Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for supply teachers of varying subject specialisms to work across our network of client schools in the Stockport area.

Location: You will be required to work across Stockport, covering areas such as Bramhall, Hazel Grove, and Heaton Moore.

Throughout this role, you will earn a competitive salary between £120 and £150 per day.

Key responsibilities:

• You will have no planning and marking responsibilities, you will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons of a high standard to minimise disruption caused by the absence of their regular class teacher.
• You will be prioritised for cover within your subject specialism however you will also be expected to carry out general cover.
• Behaviour management will be central to this role, it is important that you are able to control the behaviour of the classroom to create and productive learning environment.

Requirements:

• For this role it is essential that you have QTS across any subject specialism.
• You must be willing to work and travel to a range of schools.
• You must be willing to undergo Teaching Personnel’s vetting process, you will be required to apply for a fully enhanced DBS check as well as provide a minimum of two employment-based references covering the last two years of your employment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
