An outstanding school in Golders Green is currently looking for a RE/Humanities Teacher who will be able to start as soon as possible. Additionally, all work has been prepared for the following two terms to ease the transition period and also for the ideal candidate to get used to the school. The school has three sites which are: nursery and infant, junior school and a high school, with this role you will be working in the high school. If you are looking for a school that will give you the opportunity to try different year groups should you wish to do so or specialise in a subject that interest you, this is definitely the school for you!
In their last Ofsted review they were rewarded Good; aligned with their last OFSTED inspection. All classrooms are equipped with modern equipment and the children have access to a large library which is stocked termly with new resources.
The ideal candidate will be someone who has previous experience teaching KS2 through to KS4. As mentioned earlier this post is initially for two terms which gives both the candidate and the school the opportunity to ensure that everyone is happy. Should both suitors be happy, then the role will be extended in the upcoming academic year.
The school gives all teachers opportunities to adapt the national curriculum in a teaching style that adheres to the learning abilities within the class. By actively accessing the needs of the class, you will be able to deliver lessons that are adaptive to all learning abilities within the class. Additionally you will be responsible for proving a safe and encouraging environment where students are actively encouraged to succeed and develop character. The school boasts a friendly and energetic school environment where both staff and students benefit from regular training sessions and extra curricular activities.
