Job description

A welcoming and inclusive school in Harrow is seeking a Qualified Teaching Assistant to join their team in September. This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils across a range of abilities and needs, working closely with teachers and the SEN team to promote progress and wellbeing.

Key Duties:

  • Support pupils 1:1 or in small groups

  • Assist with lesson planning and classroom tasks

  • Adapt materials for SEN or EAL learners

  • Promote positive behaviour and engagement

  • Track pupil progress and support EHCP goals

Requirements:

  • Level 2/3 TA qualification (CACHE or equivalent)

  • Experience in a school or educational setting

  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills

  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)

  • Flexible, proactive and reliable

Desirable:

  • Experience with SEN/SEMH

  • Training in Team Teach, PECS, or Makaton
