Science Teacher QTS – Derbyshire
Daily Rate: £162 – £251
Start Date: September 2025 / Immediate Starts Available

Are you a qualified Science Teacher with a passion for inspiring young minds? Teaching Personnel is currently supporting secondary schools across Derbyshire in their search for engaging and dedicated Science specialists to join their departments.

Whether you’re an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), we’re looking for individuals who can spark curiosity, raise attainment, and make a genuine impact in the classroom.

Role Highlights:
Teach Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics across Key Stages 3 and 4
Potential for KS5 teaching depending on experience
Full-time and part-time roles available
Competitive daily pay: £162 – £251, paid weekly
Access to regular CPD opportunities and career development support
Ongoing guidance from a dedicated Teaching Personnel consultant

What We’re Looking For:
✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS)
✅ Strong subject knowledge in at least one core science discipline
✅ A track record (or strong potential) of excellent classroom practice
✅ Commitment to student progress and inclusive learning
✅ Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
