Science Teacher – North London

Position: Science Teacher (Biology, Chemistry or Physics)
Location: North London
Start Date: September 2026 (or sooner by negotiation)
Contract: Permanent / Full-Time
Salary: MPS/UPS (Inner or Outer London weighting, depending on location)

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Science Teacher to join a forward-thinking secondary school in North London. This is an excellent opportunity for both ECTs and experienced teachers who are passionate about delivering high-quality science education and inspiring young learners.

The Role

  • Teach Science across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 opportunities available for suitable candidates)
  • Deliver engaging, practical, and well-structured lessons
  • Plan, assess, and adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners
  • Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities
  • Support students’ academic progress and personal development

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds QTS or is working towards it
  • Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry or Physics
  • Passionate about science and student achievement
  • Committed to inclusive education and high standards
  • A strong team player with excellent communication skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
