Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on Experience)
About the Role:
Here at Teaching Personnel, we are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated Qualified Science Teacher to join one of our valued partner secondary schools in the Walsall area. This is a fantastic opportunity for an inspiring educator who is passionate about engaging students in Science and fostering a love for learning across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
Role Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality Science lessons in line with the national curriculum.

Create a stimulating and supportive learning environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking.
-
Assess, record, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback to support achievement.
-
Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including those with additional needs.
-
Contribute to the wider school community through involvement in extracurricular activities and departmental development.
-
Maintain high standards of behaviour, ensuring a positive and productive classroom atmosphere.
Role Requirements:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Strong subject knowledge across all Science disciplines (Biology, Chemistry and Physics).

A genuine passion for education and a commitment to supporting student success.

Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
-
A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
