Start Date: Autumn Term 2025
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
About the role:
Here at teaching personnel We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Psychology Teacher to join a secondary school in the Smethwick area. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated educator to inspire and support students in their academic journey.
Role Responsibilites:

Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in Psychology to KS4 and KS5 students.

Plan, prepare and assess lessons to ensure all learners make progress.

Create a positive, inclusive and supportive classroom environment.

Monitor and track student progress, providing constructive feedback.

Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to the wider school community.
Role Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT) in Secondary Education.

Specialism in Psychology, with the ability to teach KS4 and KS5.

Strong subject knowledge and passion for inspiring young learners.

Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

A valid enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
