Qualified Psychology Teacher

Location: Smethwick, Secondary School 

Start Date: Autumn Term 2025 

Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience) 


About the role: 

Here at teaching personnel We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Psychology Teacher to join a secondary school in the Smethwick area. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated educator to inspire and support students in their academic journey.

Role Responsibilites: 

  • Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in Psychology to KS4 and KS5 students.

  • Plan, prepare and assess lessons to ensure all learners make progress.

  • Create a positive, inclusive and supportive classroom environment.

  • Monitor and track student progress, providing constructive feedback.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to the wider school community.

Role Requirements: 

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT) in Secondary Education.

  • Specialism in Psychology, with the ability to teach KS4 and KS5.

  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for inspiring young learners.

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

  • A valid enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
