Qualfied Teacher of Maths 

Location: Wolverhampton, Mainstream Secondary School

Start date: ASAP Start

Salary: MPS/UPS dependent on experience


 

About the role: 

Here at Teaching Personnel we are currently seeking a qualified Teacher of Mathematics to join one of our partner secondary schools in the Wolverhampton area.

The ideal candidate will be a passionate and dedicated educator who can inspire students to achieve their full potential in mathematics. You will have strong classroom and behaviour management skills along with the ability to create engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to a range of learning abilities.

Role Responsibilites: 

  • Deliver high-quality maths lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience desirable but not essential).

  • Plan, prepare and assess pupils’ work to ensure excellent progress.

  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

  • Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies.

  • Contribute to the wider school community and departmental development.

Role Requirements: 

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • A degree in Mathematics or a related subject.

  • Proven experience teaching maths within a UK secondary school.

  • DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one. 
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

  • A commitment to raising attainment and promoting a love of learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
