Qualified Maths Teacher

Location: Wolverhampton, Secondary School

Start Date: Autumn Term, 2025 

Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience) 


 

About the role: 

Here at teaching personnel we are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a secondary school in the Wolverhampton area. This is a great opportunity for a motivated educator to inspire students and support their progress in Mathematics.

Role Responsibilites: 

  • Deliver high-quality lessons in Mathematics across KS3 and KS4 (with potential KS5 teaching depending on experience).

  • Plan, prepare and assess lessons to ensure all learners achieve their potential.

  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that motivates students.

  • Monitor and track student attainment, providing clear and constructive feedback.

  • Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community.

Role Requirements: 

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT) in Secondary Education.

  • Specialism in Mathematics, with strong subject knowledge.

  • Ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities.

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

  • An enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Maths Teacher to make a real difference in a supportive school environment. Applications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and ECTs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
