Location: Walsall, Secondary School
Start Date: Autumn Term 2025
Salary: To scale (MPS/UPS)
About the role:
Here at Teaching Personnel, we are seeking a motivated and professional Qualified Maths Teacher to join one of our partner secondary schools in Walsall.This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated teacher who is passionate about their subject and committed to helping students achieve their full potential.
Role Responsibilites:
Deliver engaging and well-structured Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
Support pupils of varying abilities to make progress and build confidence in the subject
Plan, prepare, and assess work in line with school policies
Demonstrate strong classroom management skills to maintain a positive learning environment
Work collaboratively with colleagues to inspire and motivate students
Role Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
Good classroom management skills
A real passion for teaching and supporting young people
A motivated, professional, and proactive attitude
Experience teaching in a UK secondary school setting (desirable but not essential)
A DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
