Teacher of Maths – Full Time (Permanent)

Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
Hours: 37 per week
Location: Northampton
Start Date: ASAP


About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Maths to join our successful and supportive department. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate practitioner to deliver high-quality teaching and inspire students to develop confidence and curiosity in mathematics.

Whether you are an early career teacher or an experienced practitioner, you will play a key role in ensuring excellent outcomes for all learners and contributing to the continued development of the Maths curriculum.

You are a committed and reflective teacher with a passion for mathematics and a belief that every student can succeed. You will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons
  • Set high expectations to motivate and challenge all learners
  • Use assessment effectively to inform teaching and support progress
  • Contribute to curriculum development and departmental improvement
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a positive team ethos

We focus on developing problem-solving skills, mathematical reasoning, and resilience, ensuring students are well-prepared for further study and future careers.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
