Qualified Core Teacher

We are working in partnership with a forward-thinking, inclusive secondary school to appoint a Qualified Core Subject Teacher (English, Maths or Science). Role Summary
You will deliver engaging, challenging lessons that inspire students across Key Stage 3 and 4, with opportunities to teach at Key Stage 5. You will be expected to:

Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum

Monitor progress through formative and summative assessment

Adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of all pupils

Maintain clear standards of behaviour using positive strategies
-
Work collaboratively with colleagues across your department and the wider school
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
-
A relevant degree in English, Mathematics or Science
-
A strong understanding of curriculum and assessment frameworks
-
Evidence of excellent classroom practice and student progress
-
Commitment to inclusive education and differentiated learning
-
Ability to reflect and improve through professional dialogue

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
