Job description

We are working in partnership with a forward-thinking, inclusive secondary school to appoint a Qualified Core Subject Teacher (English, Maths or Science). This role offers an ambitious, driven teacher the chance to make measurable impact on pupil outcomes within a well-resourced, supportive department. Role Summary

You will deliver engaging, challenging lessons that inspire students across Key Stage 3 and 4, with opportunities to teach at Key Stage 5. You will be expected to:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum

  • Monitor progress through formative and summative assessment

  • Adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of all pupils

  • Maintain clear standards of behaviour using positive strategies

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across your department and the wider school

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK

  • A relevant degree in English, Mathematics or Science

  • A strong understanding of curriculum and assessment frameworks

  • Evidence of excellent classroom practice and student progress

  • Commitment to inclusive education and differentiated learning

  • Ability to reflect and improve through professional dialogue

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
