Expressive Arts Cover Teachers – Wisbech Area
Music, Drama & Performing Arts | Flexible & Long-Term Opportunities

Are you passionate about the expressive arts and keen to inspire the next generation through music, drama, or related subjects? We’re looking for enthusiastic and creative Cover Teachers to support secondary schools in and around the Wisbech area.

Whether you're a qualified teacher (QTS) or an experienced Cover Supervisor with a flair for performance and classroom presence, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a lasting impact.

The Role:

  • Subjects: Music, Drama, Performing Arts & other expressive arts disciplines

  • Location: Wisbech and surrounding secondary schools

  • Start Date: Positions available immediately and into the new term

  • Flexibility: Full-time and part-time options to suit your availability

  • Interview Date: Monday 7th July

  • Potential for Long-Term Roles

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, pre-planned lessons across expressive arts subjects

  • Foster creativity, confidence, and collaboration in the classroom

  • Manage classroom behaviour in a positive and professional manner

  • Contribute to a dynamic and inclusive learning environment

Additional Expectations:

  • Inspire students’ personal growth through creative expression

  • Encourage resilience, independence, and communication through the arts

  • Provide supportive and constructive feedback

  • Report any concerns and maintain accurate attendance records

Ideal Candidates:

  • Confident communicators with a passion for music, drama, or performance

  • Skilled in classroom management and building positive relationships

  • Enthusiastic about education and creative learning

  • Recent graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced educators welcome

Pay is dependent on qualifications and experience.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
