Location: Monmouthshire, South Wales
Pay Rate: £89.38 per day
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm
Contract: Starting October 2025

Teaching Personnel is proud to be working with a fantastic secondary school in the Monmouthshire area to recruit a Pupil Development Mentor. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on classroom experience while making a real difference to students’ academic progress and wellbeing.
No formal qualifications or prior classroom experience are required – what matters most is your attitude, enthusiasm, and the ability to demonstrate transferable skills at interview!

Requirements
Teaching Personnel can provide guidance to help you obtain:
- Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
- An Enhanced Child and Adult DBS on the Update Service
- Level 2 Safeguarding training
- At least two professional referencescovering the past two years

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
