Are you an outstanding tutor in the Nottinghamshire (Newark) area and have a passion for supporting pupils achieve their goals?

Would you be interested in supporting pupils outside of school education with 1:1 tuition in a public library setting?

Here at TP Tutors we are looking for enthusiastic and experienced 1:1 Tutors in the Nottinghamshire (Newark - NG24) area with a proven track record of success in teaching students at Primary and Secondary levels.

We look for skilled tutors who can develop and deliver engaging and informative lesson plans, assess student learning, and provide direct 1:1 academic support. We also place a key importance on finding effective communicators who have a strong ability to build relationships with students.

Job Role:

  • Develop and deliver tuition programmes for children outside of mainstream schools on a 1:1 basis in a public library seting.
  • Base tuition on the individuals needs, interests and study level.
  • Assess any barriers to student’s learning and work to overcome these.
  • Monitor student progress and producing feedback reports using our online feedback platform LEAP.
  • Develop strong rapports with pupils, carers and parents.
  • Obtain up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum content and qualification frameworks you're providing subject tuition in.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Qualification in Teaching or experience within tutoring or as a TA.
  • 2+ years of tutoring / teaching / TA experience.
  • Ability to work with students of all abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract

Salary: £20-£30 per hour

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
