Job Title: Psychology Teacher

Location:

South West England, Dorset, Bournemouth

Job Type:

Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours

Salary:

£30,000 - £41,333 Per annum

Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging psychology lessons to students
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress through assignments, exams, and projects
  • Provide constructive feedback and support to students to enhance their learning experience
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a dynamic and inclusive learning environment
  • Stay up-to-date with developments in the field of psychology to enhance teaching content

Required Qualifications:

A relevant degree in Psychology or a related field

Education:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential

Experience:

Prior experience teaching psychology at the secondary school level is preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of psychology curriculum and teaching methods
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students
  • Organisational skills to plan lessons effectively

Preferred Qualifications:

Postgraduate qualification in education or psychology

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
