Start date: April 23rd 2019. (Some schools will be flexible on start date for the right candidate)

About the role of a Teaching Assistant:

Supporting students on a 1:1 basis, or in small groups. These students may have special educational needs and need extra support. Some students will be dis-engaged in school and need a "behaviour buddy" role model to help them engage in their studies.

Requirements:

  • Strong academic background
  • You should be passionate, motivated and have a good use of initiative
  • No prior experience working in schools necessary.

The pay rate for a Teaching Assistant is ÂŁ57-ÂŁ65 a day/ ÂŁ285-ÂŁ325 a week. Pay will be dependant on experience, role and the school you work in.

If you are considering a career as an Educational Psychologist then working as a Teaching Assistant will help you gain valuable experience working with children.

Benefits of working as a Teaching Assistant with Teaching Personnel:

  • Our relationships with local schools provide access to a wealth of teaching opportunities in Primary, Secondary and SEN schools.
  • You will have your very own specialist Recruitment Consultant dedicated to finding you work.
  • Access to our CPD academy - numerous courses to help your learning development such as Team Teach
  • Flexibility - One extremely useful benefit of securing your long term role through us is that it allows you to go into a school and decide whether it is the right one for you before fully committing to the entire academic year
  • Refer a Friend Scheme - financial benefits for every friend that joins us
  • Weekly Pay - you will be paid weekly directly into your bank account

If this is a role that interests you then please apply early to avoid disappointment.

I look forward to hearing from you.
