Location: Stone and Staffordshire area
Position: SEN & SEMH Teaching Assistant
Minimum Pay Rate: £103.13 per day
Hours: Full time and long term
Starte date: ASAP
Requirements:
- A degree in Psychology or a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build rapport with students and staff
- Prior experience in education or support roles (preferred but not essential)
- Dedication to promoting inclusivity and well-being
- Enhanced DBS check (we’ll help you obtain this)
Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
- Help implement personalized learning plans
- Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment
- Assist students in developing social skills and emotional resilience
- Work alongside teachers and staff to monitor student progress
- Encourage and motivate students to reach their potential
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities
To Be Eligible for This Role Through Teaching Personnel, You Must:
- Hold the right to work in the UK.
- Have an enhanced child DBS certificate registered with the update service or be willing to apply for one.
- Provide two professional references covering the last two years.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
