Psychology Graduates – Education Support Roles

Locations: Stoke-on-Trent, Keele, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Hanley, Trentham, Meir, Blythe Bridge
Pay: £103 – £125 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Flexible day-to-day and full-time roles (temp-to-perm available)

Are you a Psychology graduate ready to gain hands-on experience working with children and young people?

We are recruiting for a range of roles within mainstream, SEN, and SEMH schools across North Staffordshire. These positions offer invaluable practical experience and are ideal for graduates considering careers in:

  • Educational Psychology

  • Clinical Psychology

  • Counselling

  • Youth Work

  • Teaching

 

Your Role Will Involve:

  • Supporting pupils with additional needs including SEN, ASD, ADHD, and SEMH

  • Working 1:1 or in small groups to support emotional regulation and behaviour

  • Assisting teachers with lessons and targeted interventions

  • Helping pupils overcome barriers to learning

  • Providing structure, encouragement, and consistency

  • Working alongside SENCOs, pastoral teams, and external professionals

 

We’re Looking For:

  • Psychology graduates eager to apply theory in real educational settings

  • Patient, empathetic and emotionally intelligent individuals

  • Strong communicators who can build positive relationships

  • Calm, resilient professionals confident managing challenging situations

  • A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
