About the Role
You will work closely with pupils in Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2), supporting both their academic progress and personal development. As a classroom support assistant, you will play a key role in helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment, tailored to meet the needs of individual pupils.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Supporting children on a 1:1 basis or within small group settings to reinforce learning objectives
- Assisting the class teacher in planning, preparing, and delivering lessons
- Providing targeted support to pupils with additional learning needs or behavioural challenges
- Promoting a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere through active engagement
- Helping to monitor pupil progress and reporting observations to the teaching team
What We're Looking For:
- A graduate in Psychology or a related field
- A genuine interest in child development and education
- Previous experience working with children is advantageous but not essential
- A proactive, confident, and resilient approach to classroom support
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with young learners
- A commitment to promoting the wellbeing and academic success of all students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
