Psychology Graduate Jobs
Job description
This vacancy has now expired. Please see similar roles below...
Have you graduated recently with a degree in Psychology or a similar social science and are looking to start a career in Education?
Do you have a wealth of knowledge but lack the initial experience meaning you are finding tough to get on the ladder?
Are you sick of filling in lengthy and arduous application forms only to be told that you lack school based experience?
If so, we can help!
Teaching Personnel is working with two large academies and a special needs school in Weston-Super-Mare that love to take on Psychology Graduates to work with their SEND pupils.
Why Psychology graduates?
Psychology graduates understand the cause and effect of challenging behaviour. Having this empathy and understanding is the first step to building relationships with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) students. They also have the academic rigour, enthusiasm and resilience needed for this role. Because of the black and white process schools have to abide by when recruiting directly, agencies provide a completely different type of candidate that schools love and this is why we are so successful.
You will be working on a full-time basis on a 1:1 or small group basis with students who have SEMH needs. You will be guided, supported and trained every step of the way by the SENDCO (Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator).
If you want to find out more or to throw your hat in the ring, please contact me immediately on the details below and quote "Psychology Graduate Jobs". I look forward to hearing from you.
