Exciting Opportunity: Psychology Graduate Transitioning to Primary Teaching Assistant

Role Overview:
As a Primary Teaching Assistant with a focus on psychology, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the educational and emotional development of primary school students. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting classroom teachers in delivering engaging lessons, with a particular focus on incorporating psychological principles to support learning and well-being.
- Providing one-to-one or small group support for students, including those with special educational needs, to ensure their academic and social progression.
- Organizing and leading activities that promote emotional resilience, mental health awareness, and positive social interactions among students.
- Collaborating with colleagues to plan and implement events focused on well-being, such as mindfulness sessions, anti-bullying workshops, and mental health awareness days.
Requirements:
- A degree in Psychology or a related field.
- Passion for working with children and supporting their holistic development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate young learners.
- Adaptability and resilience to thrive in a fast-paced school environment.
- Previous experience working with children or in educational settings is advantageous.
