Job Opportunity: Psychology Graduates – Support Roles in SEN Education
Are you a Psychology graduate eager to make a difference in young people’s lives? Teaching Personnel is looking for enthusiastic and compassionate individuals to support students with special educational needs (SEN) in schools and alternative provisions across Liverpool and nearby areas.
This rewarding role is ideal for graduates seeking hands-on experience in education, mental health, or youth support settings. Many of the students you'll work with have Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and benefit from patient, understanding staff who can provide personalised support and build meaningful connections.
What You’ll Do:

Provide tailored classroom and one-to-one support to students with a range of SEN needs.

Build strong, supportive relationships to help students feel safe, valued, and understood.

Use your knowledge of Psychology to positively influence student engagement and development.
-
Support behaviour management strategies and promote emotional regulation.

Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to maintain an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.

Psychology graduates (or related disciplines) with a genuine interest in SEN and child development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
