Teaching Personnel are currently working with a ‘Good’ school for children aged 11-16 with social, emotional, mental health and behavioural difficulties. This school caters for approximately 50 pupils. The school are currently looking for a teacher who is able to teach Maths to KS2-4. The class sizes are very small with varying abilities. The school are well equipped to allow for experimental and practical science lessons. This role is to start in April and the school are looking to act fast to get the right teacher for the role.
The pupils at this school do have very challenging behaviour and so any teacher who apply need to be able to manage verbal and physical aggression. Having Team-Teach, MAPA, SCIPP or any other restraint training would be very advantageous for this role. The school is located in Formby, and has excellent transport links. There are some bus stops located near to the school for those teachers who require public transport.
The role is a permanent role and offers a salary to reflect this level of responsibility, if the right fit the successful candidate would transfer to a school contract after 12 weeks.
