This Islington based primary school are hoping to appoint an SEMH/ASD Teaching Assistant who has a passion for developing pupils with Mental Health concerns.

The SENDCo is looking for keen and ambitious graduates for this post, especially those who would like a future career in Clinical or Child Psychology!

The care and progression of each student is at the heart of everything this school does. There is a clear cohesion between all members of staff as they all understand the common goal which is of course 100% child centred. Your role will be working with 2 boys going into their first year in KS2 (Year 3); both children have ASD and SEMH.

The role of an SEMH Learning Support Assistant requires a forward-thinking graduate who has previous experience working with SEMH and ASD children, either in a voluntary or paid role.

As a SEMH LSA, you should have the capability to use your enthusiasm for your teaching and learning - in order to ignite a thirst for knowledge in your students. This SEMH LSA vacancy is open to those who understand how to build relationships and naturally possess a positive approach.

The role is a perfect opportunity to use your skills and help move students forward; giving them a much better chance at the next stage of their academic phase.
