Teaching Personnel have been chosen as a trusted provider of the National Tutoring Programme; we are looking to bolster our bank of primary tutors. The current school closures have left students, on average, 3 months behind in their studies with over 44% of pupils requiring catch up tuition during this academic year. Owing to such, the government have allocated additional funding to support children in need of extra tuition. In light of these recent developments, Teaching Personnel are currently working in partnership with Primary Schools across East Lancashire to source a number of excellent key stage 1 and 2 catch- up tutors. The schools are ideally looking to appoint local candidates with experience working in Lancashire schools. Due to the latest shutdown, the demand has massively increased with schools wanting primary tutors to work in school and online over this next half, possibly full-term.
We are currently looking to place candidates in schools in the following areas:
- Burnley (BB10 school & BB12 school)
- Keighley
- Colne
As a catch-up tutor, you would deliver pre-planned sessions on a 1:1, 1:2 & 1:3 basis. The ideal candidate will have primary experience, a broad knowledge of the curriculum, and confident in implementing behavioural management policies. The successful candidate should be of a nurturing nature and prepared to assist children into their return to school life as much as possible.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
