Job description

Shape Young Futures as a Primary Tutor in Lincoln

At TP Tutors, we believe every child deserves the support they need to succeed. We're currently looking for passionate and reliable Primary Tutors in Lincoln and the surrounding areas to make a meaningful difference in pupils' lives—one lesson at a time.

Whether it's building confidence in reading, boosting numeracy skills, or reigniting a love for learning, your support will help young learners thrive in and out of the classroom.

Location: Lincoln and nearby areas
Pay: £25 – £30 per hour
Driving Licence: Preferred (some tuition may take place in students’ homes or public libraries)

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Deliver high-impact 1:1 or small group tuition for Primary-aged pupils

  • Tailor lesson plans to meet individual learning goals and styles

  • Create an engaging, supportive learning space that builds confidence

  • Liaise with families and schools to ensure a consistent, joined-up approach

  • Uphold safeguarding standards to prioritise pupil wellbeing

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience supporting Primary-aged learners (in school, tutoring, or similar roles)

  • Strong grasp of the Primary National Curriculum

  • A nurturing, adaptable, and enthusiastic teaching style

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

  • UK classroom experience is desirable, but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
