Role: Primary Teaching Assistant
Location: South Gloucestershire
Salary: £57 - 65 per day
Teaching Personnel is working with a fantastic school in the South Gloucestershire area that are seeking a primary teaching assistant. This school requires a teaching assistant who is available immediately and is keen to support across the primary ages from EYFS through to KS2. This school is based in an easily accessible location by car as well as through a range of public transport links.
As a general teaching assistant you will be working in a range of classes supporting the class teachers with all aspects of the curriculum. Some of the classes you will be supporting can be hyperactive; therefore a teaching assistant who has good behaviour management or any experience with young people who might be quite challenging would be ideal. This role will involve supporting all lessons as well as leading small group sessions for students who may be falling behind expected levels and require booster sessions. You could also be supporting phonics sessions and leading activities for high achieving students.
