Primary Teaching Assistant

We are currently recruiting for Teaching Assistants to work in the Poole area!

Your role will involve working alongside the class teacher to support student with their learning, this could involve supporting all students within the class, working with small groups or students on a 1:1 basis. It is important that you communicate well with the class teacher regarding the students progress to help ensure that students are receiving the support that they need. To be successful for this role you will need to have a good understanding of the primary curriculum to allow you to best support the students.

The ideal candidate will have a driver’s licence and access to a vehicle. You will need to be willing to undergo a stringent vetting and safeguarding process. You will also be required to apply for a Child Workforce DBS, if you do not already have one, this can be completed during the recruitment process.

You will need to be aware of Child Protection, Health and Safety, Behaviour, Teaching and Learning and Equal Opportunities policies.
