Teaching Assistant – Swansea | Full-Time or Part-Time

We’re on the lookout for enthusiastic, hands-on Teaching Assistants to join friendly and supportive schools across Swansea and surrounding areas. This is an amazing opportunity for someone who’s ready to get stuck in, travel locally, and build a meaningful career in education.


Location: Swansea + Surrounding Areas

Daily Rate: £89.38

Hours: Full-Time or Part-Time (Flexible Options Available)


About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant (TA), you’ll be supporting pupils in a variety of classroom settings. This is a general cover role – so you’ll be helping across different subjects, supporting individual learners, working closely with teachers, and making sure pupils stay on task and feel supported.

Every day brings new experiences, whether you're assisting with literacy and numeracy, supporting creative projects, or simply offering a listening ear.

What We’re Looking For:

✅ A positive, can-do attitude
✅ Someone who genuinely wants to get stuck in and be part of the school community
✅ Willingness to travel up to 30 minutes or more to schools (own transport is essential)
✅ Experience with ALN (Additional Learning Needs) is a bonus, but not essential
✅ Strong communication skills and the ability to build great relationships with staff and pupils
✅ A genuine passion for education and supporting young learners

You must have access to your own vehicle and be willing to travel to schools across the Swansea region. This flexibility is key to giving you a wide variety of opportunities and placements.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
