Teaching Assistant – Full Time + Part Time

Location: Swansea SA3, SA4, SA5
⏰ Hours: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM (Monday to Friday)
Daily Rate: £89.35
Start Date: ASAP (pending vetting requirements)

The Role:
We are seeking Teaching Assistants who are passionate about education and keen to support our students in their learning journey. The successful candidate will be working closely with our teaching staff to provide high-quality support in the classroom, helping students to thrive academically and socially.

The ideal candidate will have a love for working with children and a hands-on approach to teaching. They will be flexible, adaptable, and comfortable working as part of a team, with the ability to work well under pressure and think on their feet.

Key Responsibilities:

Support classroom teachers in delivering lessons.

Assist students with their academic, social, and emotional development.

Help create and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Provide one-to-one or small group support for students who need extra help.

Help with classroom organization and general administrative duties.

Encourage students to take pride in their learning and develop a love for the Welsh language.

About You:

‍ A passion for education and working with children.

‍ A positive and proactive attitude with a willingness to get involved and take initiative.

‍ Flexible, adaptable, and a strong team player.

‍ Experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred but not essential.

‍ A hands-on approach and the ability to remain calm and supportive in challenging situations.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
